Vernell Lewis, Owner of MaiKai Wedding Designs
MaiKai Designs was born out of a love for beauty,
design, organization and attention to detail. Owner and wedding
planner, Vernell Lewis decided to pursue her passion as a career in
2007, after years of planning wedding and events for pleasure. Vernell
has planned wedding and events of various budgets and timelines.
Before
pursuing her career in wedding and event planning, Vernell worked with
her mom growing their natural hair and skincare company called Pretty
Natural. She used her organizational skills and attention to details to
perform Executive Assistant duties to the President. She was also
responsible for designing and creating marketing materials such as
brochures, catalogs, product labels and the company website. She has
planned events for Pretty Natural as well.
Outside of MaiKai Designs,
Vernell is a stay at home mom who enjoys spending time with her two
beautiful daughters and husband of eleven years. She sits on the board of
a non profit organization as Co-President and is also involved
in the organizations community service committee. She is down to earth,
loves to laugh and finds beauty in everything.
Vernell Lewis is just beginning her career as a wedding and event
planner, but her professionalism, organization and attention to details
are of those of a seasoned planner. She is creative, works hard to
achieve her client’s vision and stay within their budget.
